So there's no extra trip and nothing new to plan. Some go a step further and do the trial itself at the studio, right before the shoot: one appointment, hair and makeup done, straight into the session while you're still glowing from it.

Not doing a trial on the island? Hair and makeup can simply be added onto your session instead.

A few things worth knowing:

  • Best timed during wedding prep, not the week of the wedding — it's less rushed, and gives time to curate your mini album. If it's wedding week, retro Polaroids work beautifully instead, ready instantly.

  • Fully guided, start to finish. Nothing to figure out on your own.

  • Completely private. Nothing is ever shared without your agreement.

  • This is the most common thing I hear, and it's exactly who this experience is built for — not brides who are already confident on camera. You're guided into every pose, every angle, every expression. There's nothing to know how to do beforehand.

  • Ideally during your pre-wedding planning trip, the same day as your hair & makeup trial. That said, we can absolutely fit it in the week of your wedding if that's what works for your schedule.
