That line has stayed with me ever since one of my recent clients said it, glowing and buzzing with energy after her boudoir session in our Palma de Mallorca studio. She'd come in to celebrate turning 50 — and she left having proved to herself that confidence has no expiry date.

When this client first reached out, she was honest with me from the start. She was turning 50 in January. She was going through menopause. And in her questionnaire, she told me plainly: "I am old so I don't want to do risqué."
She'd done a boudoir shoot once before, in her mid-thirties, and remembered exactly how it made her feel — a genuine confidence boost. Now, at a moment in life when so many women feel like their bodies are changing in ways they didn't choose, she wanted to feel that again.
I hear some version of this from almost every client who comes through the door: I'm not sure I'm the "right" client for this. I'm older now. I've changed.
