Out of everything I get asked as a boudoir photographer in Palma, this is the one that comes up more than any other: "Adele, where do you buy your lingerie?" Here's where to go, what makes each one worth the visit, and which one will you try?
#1 PITT — My Favourite for a Special Treat
Carrer de Sant Feliu 7, Palma. The only boutique in Palma with high-end lingerie.
PITT is my go-to whenever I want something that feels like a proper occasion. They carry beautiful, luxurious lingerie brands like La Perla and Lise Charmel, and as far as I know, they're the only boutique in Palma stocking lingerie at that high-end level. #2 Hunkemöller — For Colourful, Playful Pieces
Fan Centre, Palma. Worth trying on in person, bigger range online.
I love Hunkemöller specifically for their Private Collection — it's always full of colourful, interesting pieces that don't take themselves too seriously. You'll find them in the Fan Centre in Palma. My one tip: sizing can vary, so it's worth trying things on in store first, then heading online afterwards if you want access to their fuller range.
#3 Vermell — A Small Local Boutique Worth Supporting
Carrer Arxiduc Lluís Salvador, 15. Now run by a former Crazy Horse dancer.
Vermell has a story I love sharing. The boutique is now run by Margalida, a former Crazy Horse dancer, who took it over recently and is actively building out a sexier, more curated edit — think more daring pieces arriving with every new drop. It's a genuinely small, local business, and if you want your money going somewhere personal rather than into a chain, this is where I'd send you. They can help with bra fittings and sizing, and are happy to order pieces you like in your size if they don’t have it yet.
#4 H&M — The Underrated High Street Pick
Great basics, surprisingly cute sets, and my favourite black bodysuits.
I'll admit, H&M isn't the glamorous answer, but it earns its spot. I often find they have very cute sets alongside genuinely great basics — and my favourite black bodysuits come from there, full stop. If you want something that performs well day to day without the investment price tag, don't skip the lingerie section next time you're in store.
#5 Intimissimi — Good Quality, Photographs Beautifully
Pieces that depend on the collection, but consistently photograph well.
Intimissimi rounds out my list. It varies by collection — some seasons I love everything, others less so — but across the board, the quality is reliably good and the pieces photograph beautifully, which matters if part of your reason for buying is to actually capture how you feel in it.
Now You Have the Lingerie — Here's Where to Actually Wear It
For yourself, not just for someone else.
So, which one will you try? And once you've picked something up — or if you've already got a drawer full of lingerie you never actually wear — here's the part I care about most: wearing it somewhere that's entirely about you.
