Turning 30 and the Choice to Celebrate Your Right Now
There’s a unique shift that happens just before a milestone birthday. You start looking back at your twenties, looking forward to your thirties, and realizing how much you’ve grown. Recently at my boudoir studio in Palma, I worked with an incredible client. She’s 29, turning 30 soon, and wanted to do something to celebrate herself before the big day.
I instantly hit it off with her because I turned 30 myself this year, and I did my own Boudoir portraits for the exact same reason. I wanted a permanent reminder of who I am entering this decade. My client was just so warm, confident, and genuinely loved who she was. She mentioned she’s about to start a new fitness and health journey, but instead of waiting until she reached some future goal, she specifically wanted to capture her body exactly as it is today. I love that mindset so much.
Waiting until you hit a certain weight, a certain fitness goal, or a certain age to celebrate your body is a trap. You deserve to be documented right now.
Keeping it Classic: The Power of Black and White
Stripping Away the Distractions
When we talked about the vibe of the shoot, she knew right away she only wanted black and white images. I was totally on board. Without the distraction of color, boudoir photography becomes so much cleaner and more focused. It focuses entirely on your expressions, the light, and your shape.
A photoshoot for women in Mallorca shouldn't feel like a high-pressure modeling gig. It’s supposed to be a tool for female empowerment and a boost of pure confidence. My goal is to create a space where you can let your guard down, have fun, and walk away with a renewed sense of self-love.
The Chat: We start by talking about what you love about yourself and what makes you comfortable. No guessing games.
The Studio: I’ve designed the space in Palma de Mallorca to feel like a cozy, beautiful home—it’s a total mood on its own.
The Posing: You don't need to know how to pose. I am incredibly patient and will guide you through every movement so you look natural.
The Vibe: We keep things relaxed, play good music, and let you get comfortable in front of the lens.
