8 Things You Should Pack for Your Wedding Night

8 Things You Should Pack for Your Wedding Night

The real version (not the Pinterest fantasy)

If you’re planning your wedding in Mallorca, you’ve probably thought about your dress, your venue, your timeline…

But let’s talk about your wedding night.

Not the cinematic version.
The real one.

The one where you get back to your room, look at yourself in the mirror and think:
“Where do I even start?”

So here’s your no-BS list of what to pack — from someone who works with brides all the time, from pre-wedding shoots to the big day itself.

1. Makeup remover (don’t skip this one)

Because waterproof mascara is not coming off by itself

After a full day of heat, emotions, hugs, maybe a few tears… your makeup has been through it.

Bring what you actually use at home:
cleanser, cotton pads, micellar water — whatever works.

Because the idea of sleeping in your makeup sounds fine… until you wake up the next morning.

2. A big hair clip (or five)

Your hairstyle is not playing games

Those pins? They are locked in.

At some point, you’ll be pulling them out one by one like it’s a full-time job.

Having a clip or a soft tie ready means you can quickly get your hair out of your face and feel human again.

3. Something comfortable to wear

Cute, but mainly comfortable

You might have bought a stunning lingerie set for the night.

And you should bring it.

But also… bring something soft.
A nice pyjama set, an oversized shirt, something that feels good on your skin.

Because after 12+ hours in your dress, comfort wins.

4. A little oil or cream for your feet

You will understand why when the shoes come off

Wedding days in Mallorca = standing, walking, dancing, heat.

Your feet will need a moment.

A small bottle of oil or cream can make the end of your day feel 10x better.

5. Snacks. Proper snacks.

Not just canapés and champagne

You’ll be hungry.

Not elegant-hungry. Real hungry.

Pack something easy: chocolate, crisps, a sandwich — whatever feels like a reward at the end of the day.

6. Water (more than you think)

Future you is begging for this

Between the sun, the emotions, the drinks… hydration is key.

Leave a bottle next to your bed. Actually, leave two.

7. Your lingerie… for the next morning

Let’s be honest about timing

That beautiful bridal lingerie?

You’re probably not putting it on at midnight while removing 50 hairpins.

But the next morning…
slow, quiet, soft light coming through the window…

That’s your moment.

8. A little surprise for your partner

The part no one tells you about

Instead of putting pressure on the wedding night, plan something for the morning after.

A few polaroids.
A small album.
Something personal, intimate, just between you two.

It’s simple, but it hits differently in that quiet moment after all the noise of the wedding day.

A lot of brides I work with choose to prepare this during a pre-wedding photoshoot — a more intimate, relaxed session where they can create something meaningful ahead of time.

And honestly… it’s always a favourite.

Final thoughts

Keep it simple, keep it real

Your wedding night doesn’t need to be perfect.

It can be messy, emotional, a bit chaotic.
That’s part of it.

But having a few thoughtful things ready can make it feel softer, easier, more you.

And if you want to create something a little more special to go with it — something you’ll keep long after the wedding…

That’s where these quieter, more personal moments before the big day really matter.
